The 7th arrondissement is considered one of the most upscale and safest arrondissements in Paris. It’s home to some of the city’s greatest icons: the Eiffel Tower, the Hôtel des Invalides and the Rodin Museum.
Beyond the sights, it’s a quiet, high-quality residential area, with the famous market street Rue Cler (a paradise for food lovers) and the Seine close by. The apartments here are usually more spacious and offer an aristocratic Parisian experience.
🏆 The Francophile’s top picks (TL;DR)
Résidence Charles Floquet
The Parisian dream. A huge historic apartment (up to 6 people) right below the Eiffel Tower. Luxury and a location that’s second to none.
Rayz Eiffel
A modern, highly recommended aparthotel. Air-conditioned rooms, a roof terrace and full amenities. Great for couples.
Bellechasse Apartments
Feel like a local. An apartment in a quiet, cultured neighborhood near the Musée d’Orsay. Pleasant, bright design.
If you’re staying in the 7th, don’t miss shopping for cheese, wine and pastries on Rue Cler. It’s one of the “tastiest” streets in Paris, and you can put together a perfect dinner to take back to the apartment.
Apartments for up to 3 people

Rayz Eiffel
An aparthotel at 77 Avenue Bosquet, in a Haussmann building, with seven studios spread over six floors plus a duplex that suits four. Every unit has a kitchenette with a stovetop, a microwave, a fridge and a coffee machine. What really sells the place is the private rooftop: a 360-degree panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower and the rooftops of Paris, and you can have your breakfast up there. Rue Cler, the only pedestrian street in the arrondissement, with its cheese shops, bakeries and oyster bars, is just around the corner. Note that the units really are small: 16 to 20 square meters. Breakfast also costs an extra 13 euros, and the front desk is staffed only at limited hours. I recommend it for a couple who prefers a view and a great location over square meters.
- A private rooftop with a 360-degree view of the Eiffel Tower
- Right next to Rue Cler, the arrondissement’s pedestrian market street
- The studios are small, 16 to 20 square meters
-

EXPOSITION
An apartment with a separate bedroom at 23 Rue de l’Exposition, a quiet side street in the Gros-Caillou neighborhood between Rue Cler and the Champ de Mars. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a washing machine, and the windows face an inner courtyard, so even though you’re close to the Eiffel Tower, you go to sleep in peace. The tower is less than a kilometer away, and the Musée d’Orsay about two kilometers. And here’s the detail you need to know in advance: arriving after 8:00 p.m. costs 80 euros, and that’s not a token amount. I strongly recommend booking a flight that lands in the morning or around noon, or simply choosing another apartment on the list.
- Faces an inner courtyard, so it’s quiet
- A fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine in the apartment
- An 80-euro fee for arriving after 8:00 p.m.
-

Renovated Studio
A renovated studio near the Champ de Mars, the green lawn that stretches from the foot of the Eiffel Tower to the École Militaire. It’s a compact, functional base for a couple: everything in one place, no luxuries and no wasted space. The real advantage here is what’s outside. École Militaire metro station on line 8 is a few minutes away, Rue Cler and its shops are right nearby, and the Eiffel Tower is a short walk. I gathered the rest of the area on my page about attractions in the 7th arrondissement. Note that this is a studio: there’s no separation between the sleeping area and the living room, so it suits a couple and no more. I recommend it for anyone who plans to head out in the morning and come back only in the evening.
- Steps from the Champ de Mars and Rue Cler
- A renovated, functional studio for a couple
- A studio for two, with no separation between bed and living area
-

Studio Bourdonnais
The apartment is on Avenue de La Bourdonnais, which was laid out in 1770 and named after the French governor Bertrand-François Mahé de La Bourdonnais (1699–1753). In terms of location, it’s hard to find anything closer: the Champ de Mars is a minute away, the Eiffel Tower six minutes, Les Invalides nine and Rue Cler four. École Militaire station on line 8 is five minutes away. The apartment is well designed and well laid out, and in the morning you can go out for a baguette and come back without crossing a major road. Note that this is one of the most touristy areas in Paris, and the stream of visitors heading to the tower goes on almost all day. I recommend it for first-time visitors who want to open the shutters onto the postcard.
- A minute from the Champ de Mars and six minutes from the Eiffel Tower
- Four minutes from Rue Cler, five from École Militaire station
- A very touristy location, with visitors passing by all day

Superbe appartement Tour Eiffel
A one-bedroom apartment on Avenue de Ségur, the wide avenue that runs down from the Invalides area toward the Champ de Mars. The location is the main advantage: this is the real 7th arrondissement, not a neighboring area that borrows the tower’s name to get attention. From here you can walk to Les Invalides and the Rodin Museum, and also to the Rue Cler food market. A score of a flat 8 from 76 reviews points to reasonable consistency, not luck. It’s good to know that this is a practical apartment, not a design experience, so if you want a view of the tower from your window, look elsewhere.
- The real 7th arrondissement, not a neighboring area
- Walking distance to Les Invalides, the Rodin Museum and Rue Cler
- A practical apartment, no view of the tower
Apartments for up to 4 people

Invalides Flat
An apartment with a separate bedroom, a living room and a washing machine, a short walk from the Rodin Museum and Les Invalides. This part of the 7th is completely different from the area around the Eiffel Tower: wide streets, office buildings and government ministries, and real quiet at night. The Seine bridges and the quays are just a few minutes away on foot, and from there you can carry on to the Right Bank. Note that this quiet comes at a price: street life here is thin in the evening, and if you want restaurants and bars downstairs, you’ll have to walk toward Rue Saint-Dominique or Rue Cler. I recommend it for anyone coming for long days of museums who wants a good night’s sleep.
- A separate bedroom and a living room, with a washing machine
- Between the Rodin Museum and the Musée d’Orsay
- A quiet, official area with little street life in the evening
-

Beatrice et Emmanuel
A privately owned furnished apartment within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, set up properly for four people: a sofa bed in the living room and an extra bed, so a small family doesn’t have to settle for a mattress on the floor. The design is young and bright, which stands out in an area where many apartments still look like grandma’s living room (and I say this as someone who actually likes grandmas’ living rooms). All around you is everything the 7th has to offer: the Champ de Mars, Rue Cler and the river within walking distance. Note that this is a private rental, not a residence: there’s no front desk and no hotel services, and everything goes through the hosts. I recommend arranging your arrival time with them a few days in advance, not on the day itself.
- A sofa bed and an extra bed, comfortable for four
- Walking distance from the Eiffel Tower
- A private furnished apartment, no reception services
-

Residence Tour Eiffel
Large, spacious apartments near the Champ de Mars, with a calm, clean design that doesn’t try to impress. If you’re looking for real space within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, not a 20-square-meter studio, you’ll find here what’s missing from most of this list. Transportation is easy: line 8 from École Militaire, and the Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel RER station nearby, from which you can reach Versailles without changing trains. The Seine cruise piers are a short walk away. Note that the name promises more than you always get: not every unit has a view of the tower, it depends on the floor and the direction. I recommend asking about it explicitly before you book, rather than assuming from the name.
- Large, spacious apartments with a calm design
- Right next to the Champ de Mars and the metro
- Not always a view of the tower, despite the name

Bellechasse
At 57 Rue de Bellechasse, in the heart of the government ministries district, which makes it unusually quiet and secure. The apartments are air-conditioned, with a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen and a seating area, and some of them suit families. The Rodin Museum is 400 meters away, the Musée d’Orsay 600 meters, and Solférino station a five-minute walk. Now for two details that cost money: arriving between 8:00 and 11:00 p.m. costs 30 euros, and after 11:00 p.m. it’s 60 euros. Also, a crib is provided, but bringing the bedding for it is up to you, which surprises parents of babies. I recommend it for anyone coming for the Left Bank museums.
- 400 meters from the Rodin Museum and 600 from the Orsay
- Air-conditioned, with a private entrance and a full kitchen
- Arriving after 8:00 p.m. costs 30 euros, and after 11:00 p.m. 60
-

Mithouard Apartments
Seven apartments on Place du Président-Mithouard, a small, quiet square that most tourists never reach. The units are air-conditioned, with parquet floors, a washing machine and a kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, and the building has an elevator. From the bay window you can see the Church of Saint-François-Xavier. Two small details that make a difference: a welcome kit with coffee capsules, tea and bottles of water, and toys for children provided in the apartment. The metro station on line 13 is 150 meters away and gets you to the Champs-Élysées in seven minutes, and Les Invalides is 450 meters away. Note that there’s no luggage storage on site, and that arriving after 11:00 p.m. costs 30 euros. I recommend it for a family with young children looking for a real neighborhood.
- Air conditioning, an elevator, a washing machine and toys for children
- 150 meters from the metro, a direct line to the Champs-Élysées in seven minutes
- No luggage storage, and arriving after 11:00 p.m. costs 30 euros
-

Charles Floquet
At 8 Avenue Charles-Floquet, about 200 meters from the Eiffel Tower, stands a renovated historic building with about nineteen apartments, from one to four bedrooms. They have balconies, high ceilings and fireplaces, air conditioning and soundproofing, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and every unit has a washing machine and a dryer, which is very rare in Paris and a life changer for a family. You can order a breakfast kit with fresh bread, pastries and orange juice, and cribs and high chairs are available free of charge. Bir-Hakeim station is about 450 meters away, and the Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel RER station is nearby. Note that cleaning is provided only once per stay, and that the price matches the location. I recommend asking for a unit with a balcony facing the tower. That’s the expense you’ll remember.
- A washing machine and a dryer in every unit, rare in Paris
- Apartments from one to four bedrooms, with balconies
- Cleaning only once per stay
-

Quiet apartment, lively area, next to Eiffel Tower
A ground-floor apartment on Rue Duvivier, a quiet side street off Rue Cler, the arrondissement’s famous food market street. The English name sums up the deal exactly: quiet inside, lively outside. It sleeps six in two double beds and a sofa bed, which makes it one of the few options for a group in this arrondissement, which usually offers small studios at high prices. A score of a flat 9 from 69 reviews is unusually high for an apartment this size. It’s good to know that a ground floor in Paris means less natural light and less privacy from the street.
- Sleeps six, rare in this arrondissement
- Steps from the Rue Cler food market
- Ground floor: less light and less privacy
