To me, the 15th is the least touristy arrondissement in Paris, home to the upper middle class families of the City of Light. If you’ve decided to stay here, try to find a place not far from the Grenelle market, so you can put together a great breakfast for yourself, or near the Eiffel Tower, so you still feel at least a little like a tourist. Another option is to stay close to the Gare Montparnasse train station, which gives you easy access to all the restaurants and cafés of the Boulevard du Montparnasse and the area around it.
Two quick notes before we start:
The apartments are sorted by maximum number of guests
I sorted the apartments by the maximum number of guests, from the smallest apartment to the largest. For more information about an apartment and to book it, click on its name or its photo.
Some of the apartments you liked are booked? Don’t give up
Remember that unlike a hotel, where you can book several rooms for the same dates, an apartment is taken the moment someone books it for those dates. Since I only collected good, recommended apartments for you, there’s a fair chance some of them will be booked on your dates. So what do you do? Don’t give up, and keep going through the list one apartment at a time, even if every apartment so far was booked.
I promise there’s a good chance you’ll eventually find an apartment that suits you and is also available. And if none of that works, scroll down to the end of the article for a few more tips that will help you find a great place to stay in Paris.

Studio Mont Tonnerre
A colorful studio, fairly roomy for its category, on Rue Mont-Tonnerre, in the corner between the Gare Montparnasse and the Necker neighborhood. This is a real residential area where Parisians live, with neighborhood bakeries and supermarkets and no feeling of a tourist bubble. The practical advantage is transportation: high-speed trains leave the Gare Montparnasse for Brittany and the Loire, and four metro lines take you anywhere in the city. I collected the attractions in the 15th arrondissement on a separate page. Note that this is a studio: one space with no separation between the sleeping area and the living room, so it suits a couple and no more. I recommend it for a couple looking for a sane price without giving up a convenient location, who plan to head out every morning.
- Colorful and fairly roomy for a studio
- Between the Gare Montparnasse and the Necker hospital
- A studio for a couple only, no separation between bed and living room

Citadines Tour Eiffel
At 132 Boulevard de Grenelle, in the Grenelle neighborhood, which was once a separate village outside Paris. There are 104 units on seven floors: 84 studios for two and 20 one-bedroom apartments for up to four, all air-conditioned, with a separate, fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, microwave, fridge and dishwasher), and most with a bathtub. Some units have a balcony, and a few look out on the Eiffel Tower. There’s a garden, private parking, an elevator and a 24-hour reception, and four units are adapted for accessibility. The La Motte-Picquet – Grenelle metro station is right next door, with lines 6, 8 and 10. The Champ de Mars is an eight-minute walk away and the tower fifteen. Note that the sheets and cleaning are changed for free only once a week, and daily cleaning costs 17 euros for a studio and 28 for an apartment. I recommend planning a visit to the market held on the boulevard on Wednesdays and Sundays.
- 104 air-conditioned units with a separate kitchen and dishwasher
- Two minutes from La Motte-Picquet – Grenelle, three metro lines
- Daily cleaning is extra, 17 to 28 euros

Charmant studio parisien – Rue Brancion
A small, well-planned studio on Rue Brancion, across from the Paris Expo grounds. It faces an inner courtyard, and the building has an elevator. One bedroom with a folding bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a host who answers quickly. The apartment is small (15 square meters, about 160 square feet), but it uses the space cleverly. Dogs are welcome, and there’s a neighborhood park nearby.
