A few words about Yoel Sher
Yoel Sher was born in Paris and immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1941 on a seaplane that landed on the Sea of Galilee. He farmed fish in the Hula Valley before he was called to serve the state as a diplomat on three continents over four decades. Since his retirement he has been engaged in research, writing articles, translation and lecturing.
