Avital Inbar, an author, literary translator and journalist who was the publisher of the Gomio Israel guides from 1995 to 2003, has devoted eight travel books to France over twenty years, a one-of-a-kind "enterprise". All the books are based on fascinating research journeys. After his books devoted to France as a whole and to Provence, Paris, southwest France, the wines of Bordeaux and Alsace, "50 Pleasures of Provence" is the seventh in his "Pleasures" series (the print edition came out in 2017 and the digital edition in 2018).
